Attending a new church for the first time can be intimidating. There are many questions about what you can expect at Cornerstone, so we hope that the following information will help prepare you for your visit.
Who are you?
We are a multigenerational community of believers in Jesus Christ who desire to live out the gospel of His grace, empowered by His Spirit, for His glory. Click here to learn more.
When are services?
We start our Sunday mornings by meeting at 9:30 for The Gospel Project (an age-based program of Christ-centered Bible study), followed by a time of coffee and refreshments at 10:30. We then gather at 11:00 for our main weekly service, where we worship through singing, praying, giving, and listening to God's Word. We close out the Lord's Day by meeting again in the evening at 6:00 for a time of singing and teaching from the Bible. To help reset our focus in the middle of our busy weeks, we also gather on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 for a time of Bible study and prayer.
What about my family/children?
We provide a caring, safe nursery for little ones 0-24 months, and enriching kids' classes for children 2 years to 5th grade. Our youth (6th-12th grades) participate in our Sunday morning service, but also have their own group meetings on Wednesday evenings. You can learn more here.
What is your music like?
Our music is a mix of songs, both old and new. Some songs you might recognize. Others may be less familiar. Hopefully, you'll get a glimpse of God and the gospel of His grace in all of them.
What should I wear?
Dress in whatever clothes you feel are appropriate. Some like to wear their "Sunday best". Others take a more casual approach. There is no dress code. Just come.
